who Is God?
To us, there is One God, the Father
There is solely One, Almighty God! He is the Creator of all things. Therefore, He is known as the Father (Malachi 2:10). He revealed Himself to Abraham who thereby, left his home and country for a Promised Land (Genesis 12:7, 13:14-15, 26:3-4, 28:4, 13; 50:24).
Therefore, God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Exodus 3:6,15,16; 4:5, 6:3; Acts 3:13). Their descendants solely worship One God (Deuteronomy 6:4).
Such worshippers include Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah.
Join us in the worship of the one, true God (John 17:3).
Who Is Jesus Of Nazareth?
Jesus said
"I am the Son of God"
Jesus of Nazareth claimed to be the Son of God
(John 10:36). This truth was revealed by God his Father to his disciples (Matt. 16:16-17, John 6:69).
Jesus declared that his Father is “the only true God”. He declared that eternal life is to know both his Father, the only true God and Jesus the Christ, God’s Messiah (John 17:3).
Born of a virgin, God gave this man Jesus of Nazareth, the power to live a sinless life. He then died for our sins (1 Peter 2:21-24). God raised Jesus from the dead, took him up into heaven and seated him at His right hand
(Mark 16:19, Acts 2:33; Colossians 3:1; Hebrews 1:3, 8:1, 10:12, 12:2 ).
What is the Holy Spirit?
God's holy spirit
The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the face of the deep, and the spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. — Genesis 1:2
Above, describes how our world was created. God created all things by His mighty, awesome power. That power is known as the spirit of God or the holy spirit.
The holy spirit is, therefore, the One God, the Father's personal presence and mighty power operating through His people; that is, through those who believe and serve both God and His Son, Jesus the Christ.
One God, One Lord, One Spirit
One God, the Father
God is one. There is only one person who is God. Before the universe came into being, the living, personal, self-existent God was alone. This one infinite and perfect Being is unique.
He has no identical. He is in a class of His own.
In His nature, personality, and attributes God is undivided and indivisible.
Jesus, God's Son
Jesus of Nazareth, is the Promised Messiah (Christ), the King of Israel, the Prophet spoken of by Moses, the Son of the One God, the Father.
The man Messiah Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5) was commissioned by God his Father, to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God (Luke 4:43).
Jesus died for our sins. God raised him from the dead and made him, Lord; all to the glory of the one God the Father
(Philippians 2:9-11).
The holy spirit
Jesus explained that the holy spirit is the spirit of the One God, the Father (Matthew 10:20).
Jesus taught that God is spirit!
That true worshippers must therefore, worship God his Father “in” spirit and “in” truth
(John 4:23-24).
